11 Important Life Lessons Wine And Paint Nyc Taught Us

I've been to a few wine and paint nyc sessions recently, and one thing I noticed immediately was how relaxed and casual the conversations were. The wine and paint folks seemed to be in their own world, having just unloaded from a night of bar hopping and mischief. This made me think of NY indoor ski slopes: a place where folks are happy to let their hair down and enjoy each other's company. In that light, I was able to observe some simple insights into the art of conversation.

Ask people you know what they enjoy doing in the area around their homes. Chances are good they'll have a list of activities that cross their minds. Ask them what kind of restaurants and clubs they frequent. See if any of your acquaintances go out much.

Then get out there and try to find some common threads about that area of the city. For instance, do you find it easy to get to places on the East Coast, or vice versa? If someone is drawn to large urban areas, perhaps a wine and paint nyc outing might be a good idea. If someone wants to socialize with like-minded people, maybe taking a cab to a nearby restaurant for lunch could be a satisfying way to spend an evening.

I also noticed that wine and paint nyc events tend to be very social. I'm not averse to mingling, but I don't need all of my buddies gathered around me for my social life to be sapped. My friends and I have a different type of vibe. We engage in conversations and then leave them hanging while we go about our individual tasks.

When I was invited to a wine and paint nyc event, I knew that my first thought wasn't going to be socializing. But, what I didn't expect was that my first thought would be drinking wine and painting. Now, I love to drink wine, but I can hardly see how drinking wine could help me to paint. My eyes are trained on the wine bottles, so when I'm holding one in my hand, I'm less likely to be paying attention to what's going on around me. I think it takes some time for wine to become art for me.

In my opinion, the most important part of the activity is choosing the wine. I don't want to just pick up any wine at the bar. I want to select one that I know I will like. I want to get something that isn't too expensive, but still tastes good. That's why I normally select a wine that I would drink if I was going to a wine and art event.

Next, I choose my canvas. My canvas is my imagination and it is where my wine and art comes into play. I make sure that the size and color of the wine bottle is right for my painting. Then, I apply a base coat and then color in with acrylics.

I usually go with a bold, bright color for my wine. Then I let it dry overnight and then do a second coat to hold it together. I like to let the colors of my wine build up for several days before I put it on display or hang it in my home. If you have a wine and art nyc theme at your house, then you can turn it into a party by putting up your wine and art supplies and maybe play some music.

You don't have to have all of your supplies right at your front door. You can plan out your event and purchase your wine and art accordingly. For example, if you are having a cookout and want something a little more classy than a red or white wine, then you might want to purchase a Cabernet Sauvignon. It will be a bit more expensive, but your guests will definitely be impressed with it. They will think it is elegant.

Another option is a Wine and Art canvas. You can find these in many sizes, so you can create a smaller version for yourself. This way you will always have an item on hand that you can use for parties and gatherings. The large canvases may cost more, but if you are going to have a private party where only close friends and family members will be invited, it is worth buying a larger canvas to impress your guest.

So what are you waiting for? Go out and start planning your next event. Purchase a wine and art printing kit and start creating your own works of art. You will be amazed by how easy it is, and everyone will want to talk about it. Get busy and start creating those masterpieces.
