The Famous Painter Is The Ceo's Wife Novelupdates

“Ceo” stands for “Chief Executive Officer.” The wife of famous painter Vincent Van Gogh, The Red Crane is his most famous painting. The work, purchased by the artist in response to a request by an unknown patron, has always been steeped in symbolism. The subject of the painting is a beautiful woman whose arms are covered with long, red hair. Vincent Van Gogh, himself a victim of meager income, paints a world in which the poor and artist alike have achieved financial success.

The story begins with a letter from the artist to his beloved wife, Theo. In the letter, Van Gogh wishes that their marital difficulties should not prevent them from being together and painting. Vincent had established a life for himself and his only wife, Thesia, inboasted him for this apparently belated attempt at marital harmony. In reality, Vincent and Theo had been married for nearly 15 years when the painting of The Red Crane was finished. Their happiness would be restored only months after the death of their beloved husband, Vincent, in the attic of their building.

In the present day, just before Christmas, Vincent and Thesia are preparing for their first Christmas in together since their marriage. Their daughter, Theo, who has been studying art all these years, anxiously awaits the arrival of her friend. Vincent assures her that he will visit her, though not too frequently, so that she can continue to paint. When Thesia arrives at Vincent's home on Christmas Eve, however, she discovers that Vincent has painted nothing except for a single sun on the wall. Frantically attempting to recreate the painting, Thesia runs off to see her mother in order to find out what has happened to her husband.

Back at the house, she finds that Thesia's mother has died. Disappointed and confused, Thesia cannot understand why her beloved husband has not come to spend Christmas with her. While at breakfast, Thesia overhears her mother talking about Vincent, and she decides to pay an early visit to Vincent's studio in order to ask him some questions about his paintings.

Arriving at the studio, however, Vincent is nowhere to be found. Disappointed, Thesia decides to ask one of his many assistants about where Vincent might have gone. Unfortunately, none of his assistants are familiar with his whereabouts. Frantically searching the empty surroundings, Thesia overhears a conversation in which Thesia's neighbor, Mr. Belmopaner, suggests that Vincent run away to avoid detection. The Red Crane is suddenly drawn into the story, and inspires Thesia to search for her famous painter father.

Following a series of unfortunate events in which Thesia is nearly killed by an infected needle, Thesia finally catches up with Vincent and finds herself in the arms of his new lover, Flora. Things go bad almost immediately, however, when Thesia discovers that her father was the original owner of The Red Crane. Flora and Vincent become enemies once again, and their pursuit for famous paintings leads them to an even more sinister discovery – that the Red Crane is actually an unscrupulous dealer in famous paintings, and that his business is controlled by a dangerous member of the Mafia known as the “boss”.

In this fast-moving story about the dark side of the world's most famous painting, Julia Foxworthy gives us another glimpse of the underside of the famous lives of the rich and famous. The Red Crane, like many other famous paintings, is one of those works of art that is at once timeless and highly relevant today. With the help of a few key characters, Foxworthy gives us a glimpse of the ins and outs of the life of the wealthy and famous, giving us a window into their daily lives just a little further than the gossips we've read about in the past. For example, it's quite interesting to learn that Vincent, the well-off family man, didn't actually inherit the painting until after his death, making the story all the more pertinent to our own contemporary society.
