Andy Warhol Paintings

Andy Warhol paintings are now some of the finest in the contemporary art world, with many high priced works selling for millions of dollars. Andy Warhol is one of the greatest modern artists of our times, and his works will always be highly prized. His colorful silkscreen paintings can fetch a high price, but on the lower end, even on eBay, they can be just as affordable. A quick search on ” Andy Warhol painting” will yield hundreds of results, giving collectors a wide choice of pieces to choose from. If you are looking for an original Andy Warhol painting, or even if you just want to own one of his most famous works, there are options for you to purchase it.

Warhol's paintings contain a unique voice, which is often difficult to reproduce in today's mass produced art. Some of his best works are bright vibrant colors like orange, blue and red, which Warhol often used to express his political views. Other works often incorporate soup cans, animals, and other symbols of identity and culture. Many of his most famous paintings, such as his soup cans series, are among the most well known and well liked in the pop art world.

Although Andy Warhol is no longer living, his influence on modern art has never been surpassed by his former artwork. Most of his former works have been reproduced and sold over the years, sometimes for huge profits. Many of these works, especially those which have Warhol's signature style, can fetch astronomical prices. One of the places that you may find some of his former artwork is at your local Andy Warhol Art Gallery. There are many reputable galleries in the Los Angeles area which carry some of his most famous paintings and other high end works.

Although it was not originally his style to sell his paintings for large sums of money, Andy Warhol did make a decent living from his artwork throughout his career. The bulk of his career occurred during the period when he was trying to figure out how to gain a wider fan base. In the course of this effort, he painted for other people and their advertising agencies, which helped him to broaden his client base and improve his reputation with the general public.

One of his more famous paintings is entitled Band Aid, which was a response to the music industry and the fact that it seemed that everyone had an “out of sight, out of mind” mentality. In this painting, Warhol combined a group of people, all of whom wore band aids as they were prone to throwing their instruments and headphones out of focus during concerts. Andy Warhol also incorporated several dogs in the painting and it was done using the same style of pop art painting that he later used in his famous paintings of dogs. The dogs in this painting were of various breeds and were meant to represent the different aspects of Warhol's own collection of dogs that he used to create his unique style.

Another of Andy Warhol's most famous works is the Shea Whistle Print, which was produced in the early 1960s. This print depicted a group of people who were gathered around an oil painting called The Adoration of the Magi. It was found on a wall in a New York nightclub and was created using synthetic polymer paint. A low cost canvas printing process was used and it was printed onto paper that was silk screened over the image of a whirlpool jet.

Two years later, this print was featured in a group of pop art paintings that were put together by the artist and his wife, motivated by their desire to share their passion for art with the world. It was not until the late nineteen sixtys that another artist would attempt to reproduce the same image on canvas, but this artist was actually the father of the pop art movement. This artist was motivated by seeing the poverty and sadness that he saw in the world and through his work he was able to capture these feelings and incorporate them into the public imagination. His wife's painting, entitled The Yellow House, was printed on a full cream linen tablecloth and was displayed in their home for almost forty years before it was brought to the attention of the public.

Andy Warhol was one of the very first modern artists to take industrial design and apply it to art. He used the influence and design of industrial designers and began to create his own unique style of pop art that would last for decades and be preserved today in the form of reproductions. Some of his most famous works include the infamous peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the milk-soaked banana and the paperboard chair.
