Lion Painting Easy

If you have a painting that you want to sell, and you don't want to spend a lot of money on it, you can learn to do a lion painting that is easy and inexpensive. It is important to know that these types of paintings take time, practice, and effort to create. You will also need a lot of patience. But, with the right tips, you can make a lion your own.

Before you begin, you should look at different lion pictures in magazines or books so that you get an idea of what type of lion you want to use for your painting. Some artists prefer to use a black lion, but white lions are also very popular. You can even use color to contrast the black and white lion. This will help you learn how to paint a lion that you like much better.

Start by sketching out the basic lion that you would like to have as your subject. Use black and white or perhaps some color to make it look more realistic. You can even use a color to denote the mane and tail of the lion. You may have to make some color sample on card and use them to decide which color you prefer to use for your drawing.

The next thing you need to purchase is a brush. Get one that has a wide head so that you can get a lot of strokes in on your subject. You may even want to use a brush that is large enough that you can paint two subjects at once. These are great for groups of people that need to be painted at the same time. Some of these groups include people in the foreground and background of a lion.

If you do not have the right size brush for this painting, you can always buy some. You can find these at art stores or online. Choose one that will be able to handle the amount of detail you want to put into your painting. If you decide to use a paint brush for this, get one that has small bristles and that will be very effective when painting a lion. Most importantly use a brush that has a rounded tip so that your animal looks good.

Once you have everything you need, you are ready to get started on your lion painting. First you will need to take out all of the clothes that were previously covering the lion. Then take the clothes off and get the legs and claws out. If you would rather skip having the skin, you can always just get the painted portion of the lion. Remember to keep the head and tail intact because it is the part that will help you paint the lion in the best way possible.

One important thing to remember is that you should use a primer before you paint the lion. This will help make sure that the lion will come out as good as new. Primer does not just cover up cracks but it also helps to make sure that there are no dirt particles on the painted area. This will make it easier for you to get the desired results with your painting.

You can start by sketching out the basic shape for the lion before you do any of the more detailed work. You may even want to draw out some lion heads to get a better idea of how they should look. The most important thing to remember about painting lions is that you need to let it dry before you start adding any of the details. It will take quite a bit of time so make sure that you allow plenty of time for the painting process. If you want to learn how to do a lion in a week, you might want to rethink your plan of painting a lion.
