Easy Fall Paintings For Beginners
Easy Fall is a series of oil paintings that depict the natural beauty found around us. This simple, yet inspiring painting theory can be a good gateway into more detailed, intricate still life paintings. You might think you want to paint something abstract, but really, there are many beautiful ways to express oneself in the oil painting world. I like to break my painting down into three distinct categories, and stick with one for each month of the year. Each painting shares the theme of nature.
Autumn is the season of all things golden. Nature is at its best, and leaves are changing color as the trees shed their leaves. I prefer these types of paintings, because they are so fresh and colorful. Summertime brings a lightness to our world that helps make it more enjoyable. Colors are brighter, and our focus is less on the gray and the browns. We can find more variety in the color palette, and we can appreciate the simple pleasures in art. Winter gives us the comfort and security of home ownership, which is why so many people choose this season for their oil painting paintings. Autumn leaves convey the transition from green to the golden of the leaves changing with the seasons.
